Valmagne is one of the most beautiful Cistercian abbeys in France and one of the oldest vineyards in Occitany. Take a trip back in time by visiting the "Cathedral of the Vines" and prolong the pleasure with a wine tasting or a meal in the famous Valmagne inn!

The abbey

Classified as a Historic Monument in 1947 and a member of the exceptional Sites in Languedoc, Valmagne Abbey will not fail to amaze you. Let yourself be amazed by its Russian oak tuns, its cloister with its Florentine charm, the chapter house with its basket handle vault and the foutain, one of the few that has been preserved in an abbey.

The medieval garden

You can stroll through the medieval garden before visiting the conservatory of grape varieties and taste the estate's wines. In addition, it is possible to eat at the abbey's inn and enjoy tasty dishes with vegetables, flowers, fruits and plants from its organic vegetable garden.
