Presentation

At the foot of the Gardiole massif, facing the Mediterranean Sea, lies this small Languedoc village, whose name means "which looks down on the valley". In the heart of its historic circulade, the ramparts and fortified gates recall its medieval history, with the powerful lords of Montpellier.
But it is above all its Muscat wine that has made its reputation since the 16th century. Don't miss the opportunity to visit some of the open cellars and taste the famous beverage grown on the surrounding plains and hillsides.

Mireval is also a remarkable natural environment. From the garrigues of the Gardiole massif to the preserved natural site of the Villeneuve saltworks, it is a reservoir of biodiversity and an opportunity, during hikes, bike rides and even horse rides, to discover remarkable species.

Another amazing natural site not to be missed: the Creux de Miège. This impressive rocky cirque, whose collapse has given way to a wetland and limestone cliffs, is the subject of a Biotope decree for its natural quality. A lovely walk awaits you.

For a farniente break, it is on the wild beach of Aresquiers that you will find rest and will let you rocked by the blue waves!
