Nestling on the peaceful shores of the Etang de Thau, the Port des Nacelles is the beating heart of Mèze's maritime heritage. This "little boat port", the town's oldest, reveals all the charm of Mediterranean tradition, with its traditional fishing boats and pleasure craft bobbing gently along the water. Its name evokes the small rowing boats, without masts or sails, that once plied the Thau lagoon and left their mark on local maritime memory. Just a stone's throw from the old town, this authentic 420-meter harbor offers a peaceful, unspoiled atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of modern ports.
